William Protheroe

William Protheroe has extensive experience in the wine industry, currently serving as Head of Customer Business Support at Liberty Wines Ltd since November 2020, where previous roles included Customer Business Support Manager and Price List and Product Data Manager. Prior to Liberty Wines, William worked at Berry Bros. & Rudd as a Digital Merchandising Executive for a short period and held the position of Trade Marketing Assistant at Fields, Morris & Verdin, focusing on marketing campaigns and event coordination. William's career began with Majestic Wine, progressing from Trainee Manager to Senior Assistant Manager, where responsibilities included team motivation and data analytics to enhance store performance. Additional experience includes working as a Wine Writer for WINERIST LTD and teaching English as an assistant at the British Council. William holds a Level 3 Award in Wines and is currently pursuing a Level 4 Diploma in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
