Andreas Schultheis

Andreas Schultheis joined the Libra Group in 2015 as Executive Vice President - Investments. He is an experienced commercial banker having spent the majority of his career with Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co, the oldest owner-managed private bank in Germany and one of the oldest banks in the world.

Beginning as an apprentice in 1983, during his 32 years at Berenberg, Andreas was one of the original members of the bank's shipping division, subsequently its Head and instrumental in building the function into the most profitable of the corporate banking operations. Other Berenberg roles include Commercial Banking, Correspondent Banking (South East Europe and Scandinavia) and Trade Finance.

Andreas studied corporate banking at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management between 1986 and 1988.
