Nikolaos Verras

Nikolaos Verras joined the Libra Group in 2013 as Legal Counsel for EuroEnergy.

He holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, an MA in International Business and Finance from Panteion University of Athens, and an LL.B. from the University of Athens School of Law.

Nikolaos has experience in the fields of corporate, contract and M&A law within the energy and industrial sectors. He has been involved in several M&A transactions in Greece and Southeast Europe, handling due diligence, corporate law, financing and refinancing and regulatory issues. His previous roles include Senior Associate at the Affiliated Law Firm of Ernst & Young, Greece, and Legal Advisor at Chipita S.A., a Greek multinational food company with presence in 56 countries.

As Group General Counsel, he provides primary legal leadership and advice to the Libra board spanning a wide range of commercial and operational issues.
