David Lipscomb

David Lipscomb has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David is currently serving as the VP Controller at Libra Solutions since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Financial Officer at GO Mortgage from 2022 to 2023.

Their longest tenure was at Prosperity Home Mortgage, LLC where they held the role of Senior Vice President, Finance & Controller for nine years, from 2013 to 2022. During this time, they had full responsibility for all Finance & Accounting functions, Treasury operations, and Warehouse Line management, as well as Executive Governance and Oversight of the mortgage business. David played a significant role in designing and implementing the accounting, finance, and treasury responsibilities to launch the company.

Before joining Prosperity Home Mortgage, LLC, they founded and served as the CEO of Baron Cameron & Co LLC, a consulting advisory firm, from 2011 to 2013. David was responsible for redesigning client servicing compensatory fees processes and procedures, resulting in a universal settlement with the GSEs.

David also gained valuable experience working at various organizations such as Freddie Mac, KPMG, Fannie Mae, AMX Mortgage, GMAC Mortgage, and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, holding roles such as Director, CFO Advisory, Director, Controller, and National Finance Manager.

David Lipscomb received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Pacific Lutheran University - School of Business in the years 1981 to 1985. David later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance, Real Estate & Law from California State University, Long Beach from 1987 to 1989. David holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
