Layla Maurer currently serves as a Staff Attorney at Library Futures, focusing on enhancing library systems through innovative legal solutions. Previously, Layla worked as an Attorney at Wizards of the Coast, providing in-house counsel for Dungeons & Dragons and digital licensing, with an emphasis on brand management, digital media, and privacy issues. Layla also held a position as an Associate Attorney, where responsibilities included advising on commercial licensing and data privacy matters. Additional experience includes grading bar prep essays for Themis Bar Review and serving as a research and teaching assistant at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where Layla earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with honors.
