Ariel Segal has extensive experience in library and archival services, currently serving as the Hebrew Cataloging and Acquisitions Librarian at the Library of Congress since February 2016, focusing on cataloging Hebrew, Yiddish, and Judaic materials. Prior experiences include roles as a Library Technician in digital conversion, where customized digital imaging of fragile materials was performed, and as a Program Support Assistant, overseeing metadata migration and remediation. Ariel Segal has also worked at the Smithsonian Institution Archives as an Archivist, performed technical information support at ASRC Federal, and coordinated editorial efforts for the history of science book at the Institute for Physical Science and Technology.
