Garry Samett

Garry Samett is an experienced professional in the fields of technology and digital media, currently serving as a Thing Technician at the Library of Things since September 2021, focusing on maintaining and repairing items. Simultaneously, Garry has been a Fixer with Restart since February 2019, promoting self-repair of electronics within communities. With a strong background in production and UX design, Garry held positions as Senior Producer at smallmouse and DIAS Creative, and as a Producer and UX Designer at Yazino. Previous roles include Head of Digital Content at Teachers TV, Producer & Exec Producer at Endemol UK, and Co-Founder and Production Director at Preloaded. Garry began a career in digital media at Good Technology as a Project Manager/ Developer. Educationally, Garry holds an MA in Design for Interactive Media from Middlesex University.
