Paul Wakefield, MBA has over 20 years of experience in IT and technology management. Paul started their career in 1998 as a Partner at SMIS Computer Services. From there, they moved on to become the IT and Systems Manager at Alpha Thames Engineering Ltd and the IT Director at Advanced Protocol Technology Ltd in 1999. In 2005, they joined LiDCO Group PLC, where they held various roles including IT Specialist, Software Development Manager, Head of Technology Integration, and most recently, Director of Technology and Process Improvement. Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated expertise in technology integration, software development, and process improvement.

Paul Wakefield, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration degree from London South Bank University, which they obtained from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued electronics studies at Imperial College London from 1996 to 1997. Paul also attended Palmers Sixth Form College from 1994 to 1996, where they studied electronics, physics, pure and applied maths, as well as design/tech.

In addition to their formal education, Paul Wakefield has achieved various certifications in the field of cloud computing and development. Paul obtained the following certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA) in May 2020, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (SOA) in April 2020, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (SAA) in March 2020, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF) in January 2020.
