Abdul Ali

Software Development Intern at LIDD Supply Chain Consultants

Abdul Ali is a software development intern at LIDD Consultants since September 2022 and has been a peer mentor at McGill University for the Tomlinson Engagement Award for Mentoring (TEAM) since January 2022, supporting students in the ECSE 223 course on model-based programming. Previously, Abdul served as an electrical engineering intern at FONEX Data Systems Inc from May 2019 to August 2020, where responsibilities included validating optical characteristics of network equipment and preparing presentations for product introduction projects. Abdul also participated in Udacity's Android Track through a Google scholarship and contributed as an organizer and IT member for the Google Developers Group. Additionally, Abdul founded and chaired the IEEE IAET Student Branch, fostering skills in problem-solving and critical thinking among peers through technical workshops. Abdul holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from McGill University, completed an Algorithm course at Princeton University, and has completed five semesters toward a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at the Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology.
