Maria Zachs

Maria Zachs is an experienced project manager and consultant, currently leading the Climate Smart and Resilient Municipalities partnership project for Lidköpings kommun. Maria founded Atcoreo, focusing on assisting businesses and organizations in achieving social impact, and serves as President of Voices4Change, a platform for culture and media activism. Past roles include interim program manager and head of impact at ForumCiv, where Maria was involved in democracy and gender equality initiatives, and extensive experience at IM Swedish Development Partner, managing regional programs and capacity development. Maria possesses a Master’s degree in Gender, Justice and Society from Umeå University and a Master’s degree in Communication for Development from Malmö University, along with various other educational qualifications in social sciences and environmental law.
