Dániel Szokolics

Dániel Szokolics is a Senior Data Scientist at Lidl Magyarország since February 2021, responsible for supporting and managing junior colleagues while contributing to the development of data tools utilized across multiple countries. Dániel has successfully developed an A/B testing framework using Bayesian statistics and has played a key role in delivering over five small-scale data products that aid business decision-making. Previously, Dániel worked as a Data Scientist at Hiflylabs, where significant projects included an arrival time prediction app for a pharmaceutical company and energy fraud detection. Dániel began a career in data science with a Business Intelligence internship at IFUA Horváth & Partners Management Consultants and has held various leadership and junior roles in data analysis and consultancy. Dániel holds a Master’s degree in Business Analytics from Central European University, along with degrees in Economics and Financial Mathematics.
