Ivan Ryan

Ivan Ryan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ivan started their career at Lidl Ireland in 2007 as a Junior Internal Auditor and later held positions such as Accounts Management Trainee and Finance & Accounting Department Manager. Ivan also completed the International Management Development Programme during this time. In 2012, Ivan became the Payroll Department Manager, responsible for payroll processing for thousands of employees. Ivan also worked as a Regional HR and Administration Executive and participated in the National Management Development Programme. Ivan then joined Lidl in Germany as the Sales Operations Director/Regional Director Development Programme before returning to Lidl Ireland as an Executive Project Manager in 2017. In 2018, they became the Director of IT and Chief Information Officer, overseeing the company's IT operations. Ivan held various roles in the company, including Interim Chief Administration Officer and Senior Director of IT and Chief Information Officer. In 2023, Ivan joined Lidl Northern Ireland as the Regional Managing Director, leading the company's operations in the region.

Ivan Ryan has a diploma in Employment Law from Technological University Dublin, which they completed from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Accounting from Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus from 2006 to 2007. Ivan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006.
