Gregory Carr

Gregory Carr has a long and varied work experience. From 2010 to 2011, they were an IRTA Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health, where they led a mouse behavioral research group. During this time, they also served as an Adjunct Instructor at Howard University, teaching Animal Physiology and Neuroscience and developing lectures and laboratory sections for both courses. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Intern at the National Institutes of Health's Office of Technology Transfer, where they identified intellectual property with potential commercial applications, performed initial market analysis, and facilitated academic and industry collaborations. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Lead Investigator and Investigator at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been an Associate and Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Gregory Carr earned a BA in Neuroscience from Kenyon College and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
