Mark McKinney

Director of Laboratories and Facilities at Lieber Institute for Brain Development

Mark McKinney has worked in a variety of roles in the healthcare and laboratory industries since 1985. Mark began their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Revco Pharmacy Inc. in 1985. In 1992, they moved to PharmaKinetic's Laboratories as a Bio-Analytical Chemist and Laboratory Safety Officer. In 1996, they joined the Howard County Department of Fire & Rescue Services as a Fire Fighter Lieutenant/Paramedic. In 2005, they worked as a Production Chemist at PolyLC Inc. In 2008, they joined the State of Maryland - Laboratories Administration as an Administrator IV - Office of Quality Systems (QA Officer). In 2014, they moved to Forest City Realty Trust as a Facilities Manager, then General Manager in 2017. In 2018, they joined Brookfield Properties as General Manager on the Forest City New East Baltimore Partnership development project. In 2021, they became the General Manager at Lillibridge Healthcare Services and Director of Laboratories and Facilities at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development.

Mark McKinney obtained an Associate of Arts - AA in Chemistry from Catonsville Community College between 1986 and 1989. Mark then attended Towson University from 1989 to 1992 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
