David Thomas has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Head of Finance at Liebherr-Australia since April 2008 after holding various roles including Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Senior Financial Accountant, and Management Accountant. Prior experience includes being an Accountant at AVJennings, where responsibilities included a comprehensive range of accounting and financial performance analysis, and several contract roles focusing on process improvement. Earlier in the career, David served as Assistant Accountant at Elders Insurance, developing automation solutions that significantly improved efficiency, particularly in bank reconciliation processes. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Australia.

Part of the global Liebherr Group of Companies, Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd was first incorporated as a company in 1981 and soon after, the 20-hectare head office complex in Adelaide (South Australia) was built.
