Betty Lo

Betty Lo is an accomplished product designer with extensive experience in UX/UI design and research. Currently serving as a Product Designer at Match since March 2022, Betty previously contributed to the UW Division of Design as a Design Researcher, collaborating with Professor James Pierce on cybersecurity and smart home camera interfaces. Betty's prior roles include a UX Design Intern at Amazon, a UI/UX Designer at ALLERIO, where over 100 wireframes and a design system were developed, and a Graphic Designer for HOMEROOM UW, which involved creating a magazine celebrating Asian American heritage. Additional experience includes facilitating cultural exchange programs at Unite UW and interning in economic policy at the California State Board of Equalization. Betty holds a Bachelor of Design in Interaction Design from the University of Washington, completed in 2022.
