Richard Davis

Richard Davis has a diverse work experience in the field of molecular biology, gene therapy, toxicology, and ocular research. Richard is currently working as a Senior Director of Molecular Biology at Life Biosciences. Previously, they worked as a Preclinical Efficacy and Safety Studies Consultant at NDA and as a Toxicology Consultant at iuvo BioScience. Richard also served as an Ocular Gene Therapy Consultant at the University of Pennsylvania and as a Senior Research Investigator in the Gene Therapy Program at the same university. Richard held the position of Director of Retinal Research at the Neural Stem Cell Institute and was an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University Medical Center. Richard started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine and later joined as an Assistant Professor and non-tenure track faculty member. Richard completed their graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

Richard Davis earned an Associate of Science degree in Pre-Engineering from Utah Tech University from 1985 to 1987. Richard then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Molecular Biology) with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Utah from 1987 to 1991. Richard continued their education at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from 1991 to 1997.
