Senior Director Of Human Resources at LIFE ENRICHING COMMUNITIES

Christopher Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Christopher is currently working as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Life Enriching Communities, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Director at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh from September 2021 to June 2023. Christopher also held the position of Vice President Human Resources at The Wesley Communities from 2017 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for managing a $22M payroll budget and providing analysis and recommendations to support performance targets. Before that, they worked at Methodist ElderCare Services, where they served as the Executive Director of Corporate Compliance and the Corporate Director of Human Resources. At Methodist ElderCare Services, Christopher implemented strategies to improve staff and customer satisfaction and saved over $1 million through wellness programs. Christopher also held various HR positions, including Human Resources Manager and Human Resource Generalist. Christopher's career started at Prestera Center for Mental Health, where they worked as a Marketing Specialist, responsible for marketing and sales in the geriatrics division. Additionally, they provided case management services and contracted psychiatric services to retirement communities. Prior to that, Christopher briefly worked as a Senior Account Specialist at Pitney Bowes.

Christopher Nichols has a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Marshall University. They also have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same institution. In addition to their academic qualifications, Christopher has obtained several certifications including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SCP) from SHRM in May 2015, the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in May 2013, the Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) in April 2011, and the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) from the Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators in October 2006. They have also obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM in May 2015.
