Zanele Shongwe

Zanele Shongwe is a highly experienced professional in the employee benefits and retirement funds sector, currently serving as the Director at the Batseta Council of Retirement Funds for South Africa since June 2024, and as the Principal Executive Officer at Life Healthcare since March 2022. Zanele's previous roles include Senior Specialist Consultant at Mentenova Consultants and Actuaries, Senior Benefits Specialist at Anglo American, and Head of Employee Benefits at FirstRand Bank Limited.
