Rishabh Kala M.S, Ph.D.

Rishabh Kala M.S, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various research and development roles.

From 2020 to present, they have been working at Genemarkers as the Director of Research Services. Prior to this, they were a Senior Scientist at the same company from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining Genemarkers, Rishabh co-founded and served as a Board Member at Life Magnetics from 2018 to present. Rishabh also held the position of Senior Scientist at Life Magnetics from 2018 to 2020, where they were involved in business development, marketing, product development, and nucleic acid extraction for RNA testing.

From 2016 to 2018, Rishabh worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Gerontology laboratory at the University of Michigan Medical School. Rishabh'sresearch focused on aging intervention, insulin and growth hormone, metabolism, and mouse models.

Rishabh also gained experience as an Assistant Scientist at Symbiotec Pharmalab Pvt. Ltd., where they worked on steroid biotransformation, and as a Research and Development Trainee at Syncom Healthcare Ltd., where they improved microbial handling techniques and performed drug testing.

Furthermore, Rishabh completed a research internship at the Institute of Animal Health & Veterinary Biologicals, where they learned about vaccine production and worked with livestock, and an internship at Ranbaxy, where they gained knowledge in sterile gowning techniques, drug processing, and lab automation.

Rishabh Kala holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology with life sciences, which was obtained from DAVV in 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Medical Biotechnology at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, completing it in 2010. Rishabh continued their academic journey and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Cancer Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016.
