Amarendra Joshi

Amarendra Joshi has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amarendra began their career in 2007 at EY, where they worked as an AVP, Associate, and Senior Associate in Investment Banking until 2014. Amarendra then joined Aster Pharmacy as an Assistant General Manager and Head of Finance from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they became the Deputy General Manager and Head of Finance and Strategy at Aster DM Healthcare until 2019, during which they also served as a Strategic Advisor to Aster Primary Care in the UAE and later advised Aster DMH India on pharmacy expansion. From 2019 to 2022, Amarendra worked as a Partner at Altus Global Advisors LLP, specializing in healthcare and lifesciences M&A and PE funding projects. Amarendra then became the Finance Director at GMG Health from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of CFO for Life Retail and Life GP clinics, Medical centers at Life Pharmacy since March 2023. Throughout their career, they have gained extensive knowledge and expertise in finance, strategy, and the healthcare industry.

Amarendra Joshi completed their Associate Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 2003 and 2007. Amarendra then pursued an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2016-2017. Additionally, during the same period, they also participated in the Mastermind program at MECA CFO Academy, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
