Swapna Gupta

Swapna Gupta has over 12 years of work experience in the field of technology and product development. Swapna started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at VertMarkets, Inc., where they were responsible for designing and implementing dynamic web applications for various B2B marketplaces. Swapna then moved on to become an Enterprise Architect, leading a team in replacing the core software platform and delivering business intelligence tools for reader engagement. In 2011, Swapna became the Director of Information Technology at VertMarkets, Inc., where they introduced new revenue streams and migrated critical infrastructure to the Azure cloud. Currently, they are the CTO/VP of Product Innovation at Life Science Connect, where they are leading the transformation of the company's publishing model to a data-centric approach. Swapna has also automated marketing operations and pioneered the development of a cutting-edge platform for marketing, sales, and content production.

Swapna Gupta has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce & Economics from the University of Mumbai. Swapna also holds a Diploma in Computer Studies from Apple Institute (NCC, UK). In 2020, they earned a Product Strategy Certificate from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, specializing in Business Strategy, Management, and Marketing. Additionally, they completed a MicroMasters program in Data Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021. Swapna is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Data Science & Analytics from the same institution. Swapna has also obtained additional certifications, including an Applied Data Science Program from MIT Professional Education in August 2022 and a Product Strategy certification from Kellogg Executive Education in December 2020.
