Roy Gikonyo

Roy Gikonyo has several years of experience in the field of architecture and design. Roy started their career as an architectural intern at MRUTTU SALMAN & ASSOCIATES in 2010. Roy then worked as an architect at intric8 design& build from 2012 to 2013. In 2015, they joined HDR as a Design Coordinator, specializing in health care research and design. Roy worked at HDR until 2020 when they moved on to Mohagen Hansen Architecture | Interiors as a Designer level II. Currently, they hold the position of Project Lead at Life Time Inc. starting from 2023.

Roy Gikonyo obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) from 2007 to 2013. Roy also received a diploma in 3d animation and digital visualization from ST Media Arts 3D Animation College in Nairobi, Kenya, from 2008 to 2009. In addition, they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Communication and Media Studies from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa from 2007 to 2008. Roy Gikonyo is also a Fitwel Ambassador, certified by the Fitwel Certification System in 2021.
