Sohaib Mir

Sohaib Mir is a Senior Investment Principal at LifeArc. Prior to joining LifeArc, Mir was an Investment Director at ALSA Ventures from September 2019 to October 2021. Sohaib also served as director at PolyProx Therapeutics Ltd from April 2019 to September 2019 and Montis Biosciences from December 2019 to September 2021. In addition, Mir has experience as a Board Observer at Microbiotica from February 2017 to September 2019 and Director at Exvastat from December 2016 to September 2019. Before their investment career, Mir worked as a Principal at Cambridge Innovation Capital plc from July 2014 to September 2019 and as an M&A Analyst at Perella Weinberg Partners from October 2012 to June 2014.

Sohaib Mir has a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge, an MD in Clinical Medicine from The University of Birmingham, a PhD in Neuroscience from The University of Birmingham, and an MSc in Pathological Studies from The University of Birmingham. Sohaib also attended Solihull School.
