Timur Avkiran

Timur Avkiran is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in chemistry, currently serving as a Principal Scientist at LifeArc since November 2015, progressing from Associate Scientist to Senior Scientist. Timur Avkiran completed an industrial PhD with The University of Warwick and LifeArc, funded by The Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851, from October 2017 to April 2020. Prior to this, Timur Avkiran gained practical experience during an industrial placement at Boehringer Ingelheim in Germany, focusing on lab-based synthetic chemistry. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Warwick and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Durham University.
