Panagiotis Matzavinos

Panagiotis Matzavinos has extensive experience in software engineering. Panagiotis began their career in 2012 as an Information Technology Support Technician for the Hellenic Air Force (HAF). In 2013, they joined IST - International Software Techniques S.A. as a Software Engineer, developing, testing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining web applications and services for telecom clients. In 2014, they were a Software Engineer for both wappier and Velti (Innovation team), working on the development of back-end solutions and APIs consumed by Android/iOS mobile devices. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Workable as a Senior Software Engineer, proposing, tech-designing, reviewing, developing, and testing cloud-based containerized micro-services. Panagiotis then joined Citrix as a Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer II, managing a squad of 5-8 Software Engineers and developing cloud solutions. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Lifebit, where they are the tech lead and is developing and launching the CloudOS platform to Lifebit partners.

Panagiotis Matzavinos has an extensive education history. Panagiotis obtained their Master of Science in Bioinformatics from The University of Edinburgh in 2011, followed by a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering & Informatics from the University of Patras in 2009. In 2019, they received a Professional Certificate in Quantum Computing Fundamentals from MIT xPRO. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Performance Monitoring Fundamentals from New Relic, Inc. in 2020, Site Reliability Engineering: Measuring and Managing Reliability from Coursera Course Certificates in 2020, Astrobiology and the Search for Extraterrestrial Life from Coursera in 2020, Quantum Algorithms for Cybersecurity, Chemistry, and Optimization from MIT xPRO in 2019, Introduction to Quantum Computing from MIT xPRO in 2019, Certified SAFe 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2019, and Oracle Certified Professional Java SE6 from Oracle.
