Dr Umesh Nichat

Dr. Umesh Nichat has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Dr Umesh started their career as a Resident Medical Officer at Shree Hospital in 1997. Dr Umesh then worked as a Center Manager at UNISON MEDICARE AND RESEARCH CENTRE PRIVATE LIMITED from 2000 to 2005. After that, they served as a Public Relation Officer at Balabhai Nanavati Hospital from 2005 to 2007. Dr Umesh then joined Jupiter Hospital as the Head of Marketing from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as the Center Head at Nahar Medical Center. Dr Umesh then served as the Director of Operations & Marketing at Pacific International Hospital from 2013 to 2016. Dr. Nichat then joined Mediheal Group of Hospitals, where they held positions as General Manager from 2016 to 2019 and Vice President Operations from 2019 to 2021. Most recently, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Nahar Hospital from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are working as the Vice President Operations at LifeCare Hospitals.

Dr Umesh Nichat has a diverse education history. Dr Umesh obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Hospital Administration from the International Institute of Business Management and Research Technology, completing their studies between 2020 and 2023. Prior to this, they earned a PGDHA in Hospital Administration from KCCMS in 2005-2006. Dr Umesh also holds a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Operations & Marketing from Uttarkashi vidyapeeth, completed between 1996 and 1998. Additionally, Dr Umesh Nichat obtained a BAMS degree in Ayurveda from Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad in 1994-1997. Dr Umesh'ssecondary education includes an HSC from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) in 1991-1993, and an SSC from SVVHS between 1981 and 1991.
