John Hunsberger Ma, Limhp

John Hunsberger, MA, LIMHP, serves as Associate Pastor for Marriage and Parenting and Care, as well as Director of Counseling at Lifegate Church since January 2014. Prior to this role, John was a self-employed PLMHP Clinical Mental Health Counselor from June 2013 to January 2014, utilizing Biblical principles alongside cognitive/behavioral and reality therapies to assist clients. John's earlier experience includes serving as Pastor of Spiritual Formations and Missions at Heartland Church from August 2010 to September 2012, where responsibilities encompassed managing small groups and creating resources for spiritual growth. John also has a military background as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from January 2003 to June 2007, leading and training squads in various operations. John holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace University and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Ministries from Moody Bible Institute.
