Since February 2000, Robert has served as the Corporate Compliance & Special Project Manager at Lifeguard Transportation Services, where responsibilities include overseeing compliance and management of special projects. Prior to this, Robert worked as a Flight Paramedic for Lifeguard Air Ambulance until April 2014 and was an active member of the Florida Ambulance Association from 2000 to 2010. Robert's career began at Escambia County EMS, where Robert held the position of EMS Operation Manager from 1975 to 2000. Robert holds an Associate of Arts degree from Pensacola Junior College and is a graduate of Pensacola High School.

Lifeguard Ambulance Service was founded in 1990 by John and Deborah Roche as a small domestic and international provider of fixed-wing air ambulance services. In 1998, the company was expanded to include ground ambulance services. Since its humble beginnings, Lifeguard has grown exponentially to include more than 800 team members across six states. As a demonstration of its commitment to quality, Lifeguard voluntarily started the prestigious CAAS accreditation in 2011. Since that time, Lifeguard has received full accreditation in multiple locations and will continue to pursue the industry gold standard until all of its operations are accredited. Lifeguard provides a full-service solution through E-911 operations, emergency and non-emergency transports, value-based healthcare partnerships, specialty ambulance program management, and system consulting.
