Matthew Sutcliffe

Matthew Sutcliffe is a seasoned professional in employee and labour relations with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the National Director of Employee and Labour Relations at LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services since July 2022, Matthew has also held positions such as Employer Nominee in a self-employed capacity since August 2010, and Director of Employee Health and Labour Relations for the City of Hamilton from July 2021 to July 2022. Prior experience includes Director roles at the Region of Waterloo and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, along with senior management positions at University Health Network and The Hospital for Sick Children. Matthew began a career in employee relations with the Ontario Hospital Association and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Windsor, obtained between 1999 and 2002.
