Justin T. has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Volunteer for the U.S. Peace Corps in 2004. Justin then worked as a Software Engineer for various SMEs and tech start-ups from 2000 to 2009. In 2009, they became a Software Developer for Cisco. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Student at the Fuqua School of Business, obtaining a Masters of Management Clinical Informatics. Justin then took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at Bivarus, Inc. from 2011 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for LifeLink Inc. and simultaneously as a Freelance Software Engineering Consultant. In 2018, they became a Lead Engineer at Nike and in 2020, they became a Principal Engineer at Autodesk. Currently, they are the Director of Information Security and Compliance at Lifelink.

Justin T. has an extensive education history. Justin obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Political Science from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business between 1996 and 2000. Justin then took a break to learn Arabic from 2008 to 2008. In 2010, they obtained an IT Project+ certification from CompTIA. Justin then obtained a Masters of Management in Clinical Informatics from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business between 2010 and 2011. In 2005, they obtained an Advanced Open Water Diver certification from PADI. In 2016, they obtained a CISA (Certified Information Security Auditor) certification from ISACA. In 2018, they obtained a Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google. In 2021, they obtained a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification from The International Association of Privacy Professionals. In 2022, they obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² and a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPPUS) certification from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
