Fanwei Meng

Fanwei Meng is a Senior Scientist at LifeNet Health since September 2018, where responsibilities include leading the development of novel biomedical devices and biologics-based pre-IND prototypes for wound care and sports medicine, as well as conducting rigorous in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate efficacy and biocompatibility. Prior roles include Scientist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Associate Scientist at Texas Medical Center, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, with research focused on ECM biologic scaffolds and tissue engineering. Education includes a PhD in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering from the University of Utah and an MS in Biomaterials from the University of Florida.
