M. Scott Rester

M. Scott Rester has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership positions within the healthcare industry. M. Scott is currently serving as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Acute Care Hospitals at LifePoint Health®, a position they have held since joining the company in 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Information Services at LifePoint Health®.

Before joining LifePoint Health®, Rester worked as the President of The Veritas Group, LLC starting in 2004. M. Scott also held the role of Regional Director at Tenet Healthcare from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, they have experience as the Chief Operating Officer of American Medical Response from 1995 to 1997, and as the Vice President and Administrator of Bethesda Healthcare Corporation from 1990 to 1995.
