Jordan Yin

Advanced Instructor/trainer at Lifesaving Society Ontario

Jordan Yin is currently an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Ottawa in the Neural Regeneration Laboratory, focusing on researching therapeutic methods for chronic joint diseases, specifically osteoarthritis. They have also worked as a SEA-PHAGES Student Researcher at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and held various roles at the City of Ottawa, including Head Instructor/Lifeguard and Aquatics Supervisor. In addition, they are an Advanced Instructor/Trainer at Lifesaving Society Ontario, where they instruct and train in lifesaving, first aid, and swim programs. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Translational and Molecular Medicine, a Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, and an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
