Natalia Galán

Junior Full Stack Engineer at LifeScore

As a Junior Full Stack Engineer at Lifescore, Natalia is helping to build applications in support of delivering adaptive, beautiful music at scale. Natalia blends tech with her background in Interaction Design, Digital Marketing, and Agile practices to help deliver adaptive music listening experiences with the Audio team.

She values–as shared by Douglas Rushkoff–creating “technology for people to use, rather than technology that uses people.” In her art practice, she is exploring presence through music and experimental video. Her work was selected from 1700 entries as the official video for the track Verdigris by Roger and Brian Eno.

Natalia studied Art and Technology at Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá where she earned her BFA in Interactive Media Arts. She attended Pratt Institute to study Web Design and Marketing. Natalia was awarded the Cognizant U.S. Foundation NexTech 100 Scholarship and graduated from a Software Engineering bootcamp at Flatiron School.
