Emily (Emmy) Shearer is an accomplished medical professional currently serving as an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician at Lifespan since June 2021. With a solid foundation from Stanford University School of Medicine, where Emmy completed a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 2020, Emmy has gained extensive experience in research and policy. Emmy's professional journey includes roles as a Research Assistant at LSE Health and participation in various internships, including contributions to the World Health Organization and RAND Europe, focusing on global health issues and primary care innovation. Emmy also holds a Master’s Degree in Health Policy from LSE and an MPP in Health Policy Analysis from the University of Cambridge, along with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Government from Cornell University.
