Cécile Ferandier-Sicard

Cécile Ferandier-Sicard has had a varied and impressive career in the event and communication industries. In 2008, they worked as a Marketing Assistant for BMW, where they were responsible for organizing events, budgeting, and managing communication related to events. In 2009, they worked as a Communication & Event Assistant for Jadcom Média Conseil, as well as President of a student organization for Visual ISC Prod, where they managed a staff of 30 people and was responsible for event and team management, as well as external company services. In 2010, they worked as a Communication & Press Relations Assistant for Canal+, where they engaged in all communication accounts and projects, developed new and improved existing communication tools, and contributed to all event press releases. In 2011, they worked as an Event and Volunteers Coordinator for Cinefranco's Francophone International Film Festival of Toronto, where they managed up to 600 students per day and up to 300 patrons a day, as well as hired, trained, and managed up to 80 volunteers for each festival. In 2013, they worked as a Festival and Volunteers Manager for UNITY Charity. In 2017, they worked at Canada's National Ballet School as a Manager, Development & Partnership Events, Development Officer, Events, and Event Coordinator, Canada 150 Events, where they planned and executed dance festivals across Canada, managed budgets, schedules and critical paths for all four events, managed and delegated tasks and responsibilities to volunteers and committee members in each cities, and participated in the promotion and communication plans of the events nationwide. Finally, in 2020, they began working as the Director of Account Management for LifeSpeak Inc.

Cécile Ferandier-Sicard has a diverse educational background. From 2005 to 2007, they attended Gerville Reache College in France and obtained a two-year university degree in French Language and Literature. Cécile then moved on to the University of Montpellier, France, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters in 2007-2008. In 2008-2011, they attended ISC Paris, School of Management and earned a Master's degree in Management and Marketing, Arts and Culture. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, they attended the University of Toronto and obtained a Certificate in Language Interpretation and Translation.
