Laura Raia

Laura Raia has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Laura is currently employed as a Client Success Manager at LifeSpeak Inc. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2021, they worked at MEDITECH where they held the position of Implementation/On-Boarding/Customer Success Specialist. In this role, Laura implemented Web Ambulatory Clinical Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) solutions for hospitals, conducted on-boarding and training for clinical staff, and provided troubleshooting assistance and account management.

Before their tenure at MEDITECH, Laura worked at Justice Resource Institute where they served as a Shelter Diversion Supervisor and later as a Housing Case Manager. In these positions, they developed program best practices, explored client needs with case managers, established goals for successful housing placement, and implemented job-related strategies.

Laura's earlier experience includes an internship as a Resolution Specialist at Medicaid Rhode Island Resolution Office and a role as a Student Librarian at the University of Rhode Island. As a Student Librarian, they taught students how to navigate the library website, advised them on library usage and university resources, and assisted with material requests and returns.

Laura Raia obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, General from the University of Rhode Island, which they completed between the years 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, between 1992 and 1994, they attended Colegio Nacional de Formacion Docente and obtained a degree in Kindergarten Teaching, specializing in Early Childhood Education and Teaching.

In addition to their formal education, Laura Raia has also obtained various certifications. Laura completed a course on "Health Informatics: A Current and Historical Perspective" from edX in January 2020 and acquired the "Customer Success Manager" and "Project Management Support Certificate" from Udemy in December 2019. In March 2016, they received certifications in "Attachment, Self-Regulation & Competency (ARC)" and "Effective Supervision Train the Trainer" from the Justice Resource Institute. Furthermore, they became certified as a "Counselor of Alcohol Troubled People and other Drug Users" from the University of Rhode Island in May 2014. Laura'smost recent certification, as of November 2021, is in "Service Hub Software" from HubSpot Academy.
