Kaleka Lenox

Kaleka Lenox currently serves as a Sub-County Coordinator at LifeStraw, starting in January 2024. Previously, Kaleka held the position of Communications Admin Volunteer at WOMEN IN WATER AND NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION - KENYA from March 2022 to December 2023, where responsibilities included managing digital communication platforms and social media for the organization. Experience also includes an internship as a Humanitarian Affairs Intern at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in late 2021, focusing on monitoring and analyzing humanitarian developments. Prior roles included a Public Relations/Customer Care Intern at Kakamega County Water and Sanitation Cooperative Limited and a Climate Change Intern with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Kaleka holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology and multiple post-graduate certificates from the United States Institute of Peace related to community engagement, gender inclusivity, and environmental sustainability.
