Jonathan Paredes

Jonathan Paredes LSSBB has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1992, they began their career in the U.S Army where they served as a Military Police/Weapons Specialist/Funeral Honor Guard. Jonathan was deployed to Mogadishu, Somalia and Haiti during Operation Restore Hope and Operation Restore Democracy, respectively. Jonathan served in the Active Reserve until 2003.

In 1995, Paredes joined Roadway Packaging Systems (RPS) as a Quality Assurance Supervisor, where they oversaw the sorting of packages and ensured compliance with safety guidelines.

From 1998 to 2000, they worked at The Charmer Sunbelt Group as a Loss Prevention Supervisor, responsible for monitoring and coordinating video surveillance to detect suspicious activity. Jonathan also improved the turnaround time for merchandise loss discrepancy reports.

Starting in 2000, they joined The Charmer Sunbelt Group as a Distribution Manager, where they managed daily deliveries of wines and liquors in the greater New York City area. Jonathan supervised a team of drivers, helpers, and assistant managers, and ensured delivery accuracy through invoice review.

In 2007, Paredes transitioned to Barnes and Noble Distribution as a Senior Operations Manager, overseeing various aspects of the distribution process. Jonathan managed a team of supervisors and operations managers, supported employee advocacy, and mentored others in operational procedures and corporate policies.

In 2010, they became a Founding Board Member of the Miracle For Mateo Non-Profit Organization, dedicated to assisting families with seriously ill children in hospitals.

Returning to The Charmer Sunbelt Group in 2019, Paredes served as the Director of Operations until 2021. Jonathan then joined Lifetime Brands as the Director of Warehouse Operations, developing operational strategies and implementing policies and process improvements to enhance warehouse operation management.

Most recently, in 2021, they joined BH Photo Distribution Center as the Director of Warehouse Operations.

Jonathan Paredes LSSBB completed their Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management/Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University, which they pursued from 2014 to 2016. In 2014, they also attended Villanova University to complete the Six Sigma Black Belt program. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, Jonathan studied Business Administration, Management, and Operations at Salem County Community College.
