Fabiana Canipa

Innovative Problem Solver - Software Engineer at Lifeware SA

Fabiana Canipa is an accomplished software engineer at Lifeware AG since October 2021, recognized for innovative problem-solving skills. Prior to this role, Fabiana served as a research assistant at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland and co-founded Tiempo, a platform focused on optimizing wind and solar plants, overseeing product development and user experience. Fabiana participated in the prestigious YSI - Young Sustainable Impact program in 2019, where recognition was received among a competitive pool of applicants. Previous research experience includes work at the Alternative Energies Lab at Universidad Privada Boliviana. Additionally, Fabiana delivered a TEDx talk on the concept of the "Comfort Zone" in June 2018.

Fabiana holds a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Industrial Technology from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electromechanical Engineering from Universidad Privada Boliviana, complemented by an exchange program at Ontario Tech University in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
