Ann Marie S. currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Lifewise NZ since June 2023. Previously, Ann Marie held multiple roles, including Acting Chief Nurse and National Operations Director, Health at the Department of Corrections NZ from October 2021 to June 2023 and Regional Operations Director; Health for Ara Poutama (Corrections) from January 2021 to October 2021. Ann Marie's experience also includes Service Delivery Manager for Early Mental Health Response at Homecare Medical New Zealand from March 2018 to January 2021 and Operations Manager at Lifewise NZ from August 2013 to February 2016. Earlier in Ann Marie’s career, positions included National Business Development Manager at Blueprint for Learning, Operations Manager at Richmond NZ, and Team Leader at Waitemata District Health Board from 1995 to 2007. Ann Marie possesses a Master’s Degree in Nursing (Acute Mental Health) from Massey University and further education from The University of Waikato and Northcote College.

Lifewise is an Auckland based not-for-profit community agency that is initiating new ways to solve challenging social issues and provides services to vulnerable and at-risk people of all ages. We can trace our roots back over 150 years as part of the Methodist Church of New Zealand (Te Haahi Weteriana O Aotearoa), meeting the changing needs of Aucklanders as the city grew and developed.
