Michael Benedek

Michael Benedek has a diverse work experience in the financial services industry. Michael is currently the President, CFO, and co-founder of LifeYield, LLC, a leading company in tax-smart household portfolio management. Prior to this, they held positions of Vice President, Advanced Trading Solutions, and Chief Compliance Officer/Chief Financial Officer at CheckFree Investment Services and CheckFree Securities. Michael also served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Upstream Technologies and Upstream Securities before they were acquired by CheckFree Investment Services. Earlier in their career, Benedek was the Chief Financial Officer at CollectSafe and Vice President of the Private Equity Group at Wit Soundview. Michael began their career as an Associate in the Private Transactions Group at Cowen & Company.

Michael Benedek earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree at Boston College Law School, completing their studies from 1995 to 1998.
