Walt Butler

Walt Butler has a diverse and extensive work experience. Walt started their career as a software development consultant, building client server applications for various clients. Walt transitioned into using Microsoft's web-based technologies and worked with clients such as American Greetings, Goodyear, and National Auto Credit. In 2000, Walt joined Upstream Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they established development and quality assurance practices and designed database architectures for SaaS applications. Walt later became a Software Development Team Lead and then Vice President of Software Development at Upstream Technologies. Walt also worked as a Vice President of Software Development at Checkfree, where they conducted product demos and provided technical solutions to prospective customers. Walt then joined CVS Caremark Corporation as an IT Consultant, overseeing a complex data repository construction project. After that, Walt worked as an IT Consultant at Midwest Technology Inc, where they helped evaluate and implement a claims management and adjudication system. Walt then joined SIRVA Worldwide Relocation & Moving, where they served as an IT Consultant and later as the Manager of Application Development, overseeing the development and maintenance of multiple global relocation management applications. Currently, Walt is Vice President of Product Development at LifeYield, where they utilize their skills in business analysis and product design to enhance investment algorithms and develop client-specific solutions.

Walt Butler attended Kent State University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information Technology.
