Jason Barnes has extensive experience in product design and management. Jason has held various roles in companies such as LIFT Airborne Technologies, EVS Sports, LIFT Aviation USA, and LIFT Safety. Jason has served as a Sr. Vice President and Vice President of Product Design, overseeing the creation and management of product collections. Prior to that, they worked as a Design Director at EVS Sports and held the position of Sr. Vice President of Product Design at LIFT Aviation USA and LIFT Safety.

Jason's earlier work experience includes being an Apparel Product Designer at The North Face, where they contributed to the creation of cohesive garment designs and managed seasonal apparel collections. Jason also worked at Fox Racing Inc. / Shift Racing as a Design Manager, leading a creative design team and collaborating with various departments to align designs with the brand message. Jason's career started as a Graphic Designer at Spektmedia, where they produced designs for different media types and worked closely with clients and press. Jason then served as a Designer and Prepress Technician at Live Oak Publishing, where they developed camera-ready designs and performed pre-press preparation.

Jason Barnes has a diverse education history in the field of design. Jason completed their Master of Science degree in Design Management at The University of Salford from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Art and Design with a concentration in Graphic Design from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, attending from 1999 to 2001. Jason also studied Art and Design at San Jose State University from 1997 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Jason pursued further studies in Design Management. Jason enrolled in the Design Management Research Program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2010, with a focus on Design for the Western and Chinese Markets. Jason also participated in the Design Management program at Université de Toulon in the same year. Moreover, they pursued Graphic Design studies at Rhode Island School of Design in 2006, California College of the Arts in 2005, and College for Creative Studies in 2001.

To further enhance their skill set, Jason obtained an Avalanche Search and Rescue Certification from the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) in January 2013.
