Naz Islam

Naz Islam is a seasoned educational leader with extensive experience in school improvement and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior School Improvement Leader at Academies Enterprise Trust since November 2015, Naz previously held positions as School Improvement Leader at Feversham Academy and Assistant Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher, and Senior Teacher for Key Stage 2 at Feversham Primary School. Early career experience includes roles as General Secretary at Bangladesh Porishad and Bangladesh People’s Association, Head of ICT & DT at Westbourne Primary School, and Head of Design Technology at Manningham Middle School, among others. Naz holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education along with a BA Hons in Business Administration from the University of Bradford, complemented by a Diploma in Engineering and Business and Finance from Bradford College.
