Tyler Ruggles

Tyler Ruggles has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tyler is currently working as a Senior System Modeling Engineer at LIFTE H2 since June 2022. Prior to this, Tyler worked at the Carnegie Institution for Science, where they held the positions of Research Scientist from October 2020 to June 2022, and Postdoctoral Research Scientist from June 2019 to October 2020. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from May 2018 to April 2019, and a Research Assistant from January 2014 to May 2018. Tyler also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2013 to December 2013. Tyler has experience as a User at CERN from January 2014 to April 2019. Additionally, they have worked at the Community Office for Resource Efficiency (CORE) as a Pitkin County Energy Smart Program Manager from February 2013 to May 2013, a Home Energy Advisor from March 2012 to February 2013, and an Energy Smart Program Assistant from April 2011 to March 2012. Tyler also interned as a Reinventing Fire Intern at the Rocky Mountain Institute from August 2010 to February 2011. Tyler began their career as an Energy Systems Research Analyst at Colorado College from May 2009 to May 2010.

Tyler Ruggles earned a B.A. degree in Physics from Colorado College, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completing their studies from 2013 to 2018.
