VP of Community Engagement & Development, Houston at LiftFund

Linda Toyota is the current Vice President of Community Engagement & Development for LiftFund in Houston, Texas. Linda has previously served as the Associate Vice Chancellor Communications and Marketing at Houston Community College and the Sr. Vice President of Development at Houston Technology Center.

Linda has dedicated their career to helping others and promoting economic development in the Houston region. In their current role at LiftFund, they work to provide financing and support to small businesses and entrepreneurs in underserved communities. Linda has been instrumental in helping LiftFund grow its lending portfolio, expand its programs and services, and develop new partnerships with other organizations.

Under Linda's leadership, the Communications and Marketing team at Houston Community College increased public awareness of the college's programs and services, strengthened relationships with key stakeholders, and improved the college's reputation. Linda also successfully managed crisis communications for the college on several occasions.

At Houston Technology Center, Linda was responsible for all fundraising activities. Linda worked closely with the CEO, board of directors, advisory board, volunteers, business and corporate community, and administrative staff to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan. Thanks to Linda's efforts, HTC was able to secure funding from a variety of sources, including government agencies, foundations, corporations, and individual donors.

Linda Toyota received their M.Ed in Education from the University of Houston.

Linda Toyota reports to Rich Ruebe, Interim President. They work with Nelly Rojas-Moreno - CFO & Chief Credit Officer, Tasha Harvey - VP, Business Development Officer, and Bob Schraitle - SVP of SBA 504 Business Development, San Antonio.
