Fernando Matias

Fernando Matias has a long history of work experience in a variety of roles. Fernando started their career in 2010 as a Management Trainee at Souza Cruz, where they later held the roles of Sales Manager, Brand Development Manager - Hollywood, Hilton & OTP, Brand Development Manager - Hollywood, and Brand Development Manager - Trade Projects. In 2014, they co-founded Ocupando, a company imagined for developing urban sustainability projects. In 2015, they joined Easy Taxi as Managing Director, Brazil and Marketing Director - Brazil. In 2018, they became General Manager, Brazil at Cabify and Chief Product Officer and Chief Operations Officer at Payly. In 2019, they became an Investor & Mentor at WoW Aceleradora. In 2020, they became a Seed Investor at Fácil Consulta. Finally, in 2021, they became President and Country Manager Brazil at Liftit, as well as an Angel Investor at Daki | Mercado em 15 minutos.

Fernando Matias began their education in 2004 when they earned their Bacharelado in International Relations from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. In 2010, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from COPPEAD UFRJ, with a focus in Business Administration. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, Fernando Matias completed an Executive MBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
