Julian Osterwalder

Julian Osterwalder has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Julian is currently a Founding Team Member and Active Advisor at Serenity Games, where they are involved in advising and building the next-gen brawler game, Smashverse.

In 2022, Julian joined Liftoff Mobile as Director of Product Management, specifically focusing on Network Yield.

Prior to that, Julian worked at Vungle from 2015 to 2022, holding multiple positions. Julian started as a Sales team member in 2015 and gradually progressed to become a Group Manager - Product Management.

In 2013, Julian co-founded News Timeline, a software company providing media intelligence platforms to financial service providers. Julian was also involved in Reap Benefit as a Consultant for Monitoring & Evaluation.

Earlier in their career, Julian served as a Summer Associate at Moonroc Advisory Partners GmbH and worked on Partnership for Economic Growth at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

Julian's work experience also includes being an Africa Associate at Ashoka and co-founding Peter Bringts, the first nightly beverage delivery company in Eastern Switzerland. At Peter Bringts, they played a crucial role in initiating partnerships with leading beer companies and developing marketing campaigns.

Julian Osterwalder has a diverse education history. Julian attended General Assembly from 2015 to 2016, where they studied Data Analytics. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Economics and International Relations at The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) from 2012 to 2014. Julian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from the University of St.Gallen, which they completed between 2007 and 2011. Additionally, in 2010, they briefly attended Columbia University, although specific details about their degree and field of study during that time are unknown. Osterwalder returned to General Assembly for further studies, focusing on Data Analytics with a specialization in SQL and Tableau.
